Synergy is committed to developing thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems that include appropriate regulatory frameworks, education that develops entrepreneurial skills, access to appropriate forms of capital, talent and professional services.

With boots on the ground in Asia and a strong network internationally, Synergy is both a regional and global actor in the social entrepreneurship space.  As such, Synergy is able to bridge multiple communities (e.g., entrepreneurs and funders, local and regional/global actors) as well as share relevant knowledge and experiences across countries.

In 2014 Synergy established the East and Southeast Asia Chapter of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs. ANDE is the leading global membership network of organizations that propel entrepreneurship in emerging markets. The ESEA Chapter works to better understand and leverage existing resources in the region, facilitate interaction among local actors, and identify common challenges facing organizations supporting impact entrepreneurs in East and Southeast Asia and means of overcoming them.
